My experience in running restaurants taught me the highs and lows of serving bubble tea, and I realised how important it is to make this beloved drink easy to enjoy. I dreamt of a world where anyone could savour bubble tea without complicated preparation or expensive equipment, and that vision inspired me to create TeaJoy. Together, we can turn every sip into a moment of happiness and make bubble tea a delightful part of everyone’s life!”

All our teas are crafted with the perfect balance of flavour. Our milk tea blends black tea with creamy coconut for a robust, deep flavour.

Our fruit teas combine natural fruit with hand-picked jasmine tea, creating refreshing fruity floral notes.

Sourcing ingredients from Taiwan, the birthplace of bubble tea, we honour centuries-old tea knowledge while using 21st-century techniques to bring you the most authentic and joyful bubble tea experience.

To help share the goodness all our drinks are allergen-free, halal and vegan friendly.

At TeaJoy, we know a thing or two about bubbles!

Our popping boba is crafted from real fruit juice and has a shell made from Xanthan gum.

This gives our boba a thinner shell for an even better pop and a less rubbery texture. In taste tests, 10 out of 10 people preferred ours over others on the market!

Our tapioca pearls are quick to prepare, cooking in just 20 seconds. Made from 100% sweet cassava flour, they deliver a delightful caramel brown sugar taste—no need to add syrup! Enjoy the perfect bubbly experience with TeaJoy!

Origins of bubble tea

Created by Chun Shui Tang Tea Room in Taiwan in the 1980s when Lin Hsiu Hui accidentally added tapioca to his tea at a staff meeting. The drink quickly became the tea room’s No 1 drink and was soon copied across Taiwan.

It spread rapidly across Asia then in 2005 was launched in the US, in 2011 it reached the UK.

Ten years later TeaJoy was born from Ning’s kitchen in 2021!

Sourcing

We source our tea from the Taichung region in western Taiwan in the foothills of Xueshan mountain range, we personally visit so we can meet and see the people that produce it.

This special region produces the most fragrant tea and is the heartland of Taiwanese tea.

Our tea fields are from small holdings and help support the local community. We only use real fruit and high-quality tea.
